Morning Nature Pod Palm Beach County Open Day, Grassy Waters Preserve

This event is for families interested in joining or facilitating a Nature Pod using the Wild Florida Curriculum.

Join with other families near you for a Nature Pod Open Day at the Environmental Learning Center, a hands-on introduction to Nature Pods and our Wild Florida curriculum. We'll begin together in the Environmental Learning Center's classroom, where our hosts share resources available to homeschool families at the site, followed by a short introduction to the history and structure of Nature Pods. From there, families break into small groups, each experiencing one hands-on activity from the Wild Florida curriculum, which may be a nature walk, nature journaling, STEM, or a creative project depending on the size of the group. We'll close together, sharing what everyone saw and learned, with time for questions and sign-ups for those interested in becoming a Nature Pod facilitator.
