Florida Seasonal Nature Curriculum

Welcome to Wild Florida, a curriculum written for Florida families wanting to engage with the natural world through nature study. Our curriculum is an invitation to step outside and learn about the seasonal phenomena happening all around you.

Unlike general nature programs, this one follows the actual ecological seasons of Florida—offering weekly lessons based on what’s unfolding right now across our state, from bird migrations and wildflower blooms to weather shifts and night sky events. Each unit includes tiered lessons for different age groups and covers nature study, field journaling, poetry, art, creative writing, foraging, seasonal science, and more.
